Rental Rules

1. Rent Payments
-
Rent must be paid on time through the designated rental box.
-
Failure to pay by the due date will result in an automatic eviction after a short grace period (usually 24–48 hours).
2. Prim/LI Limits
-
Tenants must stay within the allotted prim/land impact (LI) allowance for their rental.
-
Overages may result in warnings, auto-return, or removal of excess objects.
3. Building Rules
-
All builds must fit the sim’s theme, scale, and era (e.g., no futuristic buildings in a Fallout or medieval sim).
-
Skyboxes are often permitted above a certain height (commonly 2000m+) as long as they remain within prim limits.
4. Script Restrictions
-
Scripted objects with excessive lag (high script time, scanners, spam HUDs) are not allowed.
-
Breedables or heavy scripted pets may be restricted or require approval.
5. Subletting and Sharing
-
Rentals may not be resold, sublet, or transferred without admin approval.
-
Roommates or family members are typically allowed, but the primary renter is responsible for all activity.
6. Content and Theme Compliance
-
All decorations, furniture, and objects must stay within the sim’s RP lore/theme.
-
Out-of-theme items may be returned without notice by staff.
7. Conduct on Rental Parcels
-
Tenants and their guests must follow sim-wide RP and OOC rules.
-
Harassment, griefing, or repeated rule violations can result in eviction without refund.
8. Refunds and Evictions
-
Refunds are rarely given except in cases of sim-wide outages or admin decision.
-
Evictions for rule violations are final and usually come with no refund.
9. RP Safety Zones
-
By default, all rentals are considered in-character (IC) spaces and not OOC safe zones.
-
If you wish your parcel to be treated as OOC-only, you must display an exterior sign (provided by sim staff) to clearly mark it as such.
